Artist Surfaces craft handmade museum standard 20mm Circle AluWood Painting Panels for artists.
Our 20mm Circle AluWood Painting Panels have a furniture grade birch plywood subframe creating an expceptionally strong and durable subframe with lasting longevity. For the surface we use 5251 hardened aluminium alloys which offers a higher scratch and excellent corrosion resistance.
The panels are rigid and light with a smooth surface that does not require any initial sizing or priming before painting. Aluminium will not react to changes in humidity or temperature.
Our Workshop facilities have a range of industrial saws that provide precision and accuracy. Each panel is then hand prepared so that surfaces are smooth.
We offer a service to Gesso prime our painting panels.
Canvas or Linen can be stretched over the panels for artists that have preference for painting onto a solid surface.
Aluminium is suitable for both Acrylic and Oil paints.
