Our ÉTUDE Circle Panels are CNC cut and hand-fabricated, offering museum grade supports at an accessible price point.
Named after the French étude—meaning “study”—these panels are intended for artists refining technique, testing compositions, and exploring new ideas without compromising on material quality.
Constructed using the same materials as our museum grade Circle Painting Panels. The panels feature a poplar plywood front sheet paired with a birch plywood subframe. This combination delivers a lightweight yet structurally robust support with excellent dimensional stability. The birch subframe provides strength and resistance to warping, while the fine-grained poplar surface provides a homogenous smooth ground perfect for painting.
Panels are sanded to a 120-grit finish, resulting in a subtly textured surface that readily accepts primers and grounds. They are supplied unfilled, allowing artists to prepare the surface according to their preferred methods. By omitting the filling stage, we reduce production time while retaining the same museum grade materials and construction standards. This streamlined process enables us to offer the ÉTUDE range at a more accessible price point, passing the cost savings directly to the artist without compromising on quality.
ÉTUDE Circle Panels are available individually or in packs of 3, 5, and 10. Quantity discounts apply across all pack sizes, with greater savings available as pack size increases, offering strong per-panel value for artists purchasing in multiples.
Combining precision fabrication, sustainable materials, and practical pricing, the ÉTUDE Circle Panels provide a dependable and distinctive foundation for any contemporary painting practice.
