Artist Surfaces produce Étude Circle AluWood Painting Panels for artists. Each painting panel is made using only the highest grade furniture birch plywood.
Our Étude Circle AluWood Painting Panels have a birch plywood subframe creating a strong and durable base with lasting longevity. For the surface we use an aluminium alloy 5251 sheets which are a strong strength alloy offering excellent corrosion and scratch resistance.
*Panels are sanded to a 120 grit on the side and unsanded on the front.
This creates a painting panel that is rigid and light with a smooth surface. Aluminium will not react to changes in humidity or temperature.
Our Workshop facilities have a range of industrial saws that provide precision and accuracy. Each panel is then hand prepared so that surfaces are smooth.
Aluminium is suitable for both Acrylic and Oil paints.
