Installation: To install the L-bar, you need to remove the protective cover from the VHB adhesive on the back of the L-bar. Before applying the L-bar, it's important to clean the underside of the aluminum subframe on the artwork with alcohol to ensure there is no dirt or grease that could affect adhesion.
Positioning: Once the subframe is clean, you can position the L-bar flush against the back of the artwork or panel. The adhesive side should be in contact with the subframe. *Make sure the L-bar is correctly positioned before making contact with the subframe as it will be almost impossible to remove or reposition.
Pressure Attachment: The L-bar is fixed into position by applying pressure. Press it firmly against the subframe to ensure a strong bond. This action secures the L-bar in place and creates the small lip that will hold the artwork securely on the wall.
Wall Mounting: To hang the artwork on the wall, you simply lift the artwork and slide the L-bar onto screws, compatible wall-mounted bracket or fixture. The lip on the L-bar helps keep the artwork securely in place on the wall.
